A comic book historical novel, with the feel of a cartoon film documentary.
“Un día vi 10.000 Elefantes” (One day I saw 10,000 Elephants) is the first animated feature historical documentary film directed by Alex Guimerà ( www.guime.es ) and Juan Pajares ( www.flextatowa.com ), produced by SeveralStudio and coproduced by TVE and TV3, with the collaboration of Doouble Motion / Jaime Falomir (Jaik) for the animation sequences, illustration by Antonio Segura (Dulk, www.dulk.es).
The film is a balanced mix of formats: film files, photographs, and animated illustrations stop motion animation, digital video… And recalls a cinematic expedition through Central Africa, particularly in Equatorial Guinea (former Spanish colony), between 1944 and 1946.
